Sustainability
SAL PARADISE
Our Belief
We approach sustainability with care. It is a guiding principle for everything we do. Rather than making bold statements we can't fully substantiate, we are committed to doing our absolute best to minimise our impact on the environment.
We proudly produce our garments in Portugal, a region known for its ethical production practices, and we have carefully chosen fabrics that are a significant step toward sustainability.
Our core principle is to consistently work toward genuine sustainability, ensuring that each decision we make moves us closer to achieving that goal.
Our Fabrics
For our beachwear and accessories we are currently using 100% organic cotton. We use coconut husk buttons on our shirt and our labels are also made of 100% organic cotton.
Our swimwear is made of a biodegradable polyamide yarn designed to break down faster in anaerobic landfill conditions.
Its unique composition allows bacteria to more easily access and decompose the material, speeding up the degradation process, only in landfill conditions.
Our bikini's will not dissolve or decompose during its life time with you!
Once in landfills, the fabric breaks down into organic matter (biomass) and biogas, which can be repurposed as resources for the environment.
